Sign up to the Dazzler mailing list and be the first to hear about Black Friday, which comes early here at the Emporium. That means deals from 15 October, with savings of up to 30 percent on selected posts, towers and plush items.

Subscribers also receive a weekly email from me, Chip, including tips, specials and a photo of me sitting beside a post. We will never share your address, except with our accountant, our lawyer and Fenwick. Unsubscribe at any time, though I will be sad, and I will email you about it.

As the leaves fall, so do our prices! For the next two weeks every Emporium post comes with a 12 percent discount and a free bag of dried leaves, which your cat will immediately scatter.

The Leaf Fall Event includes savings on the Classic, the Duke, the Cuddlebug and the Corner Defender. Tower owners also receive a half price second platform. Offer ends when the leaves do, or on 8 October, whichever your cat finds first. Terms and conditions apply, mostly to the leaves. The free leaves are real leaves, collected by Bolt in a sack, and sorted by colour by a cat who cares deeply.

It is a madhouse in here, friends! We have 400 cardboard scratchers in the stockroom and the landlord says they have to go. Prices slashed from 8.99 dollars to 3.50 dollars, and from 3.50 to ‘please just take them’.

Each scratcher is a reversible corrugated lounge with a groove for the paw and a gentle slope for dignity. Cats adore them. Cats fall asleep on them. Cats occasionally eat parts of them, and that is fine. We cannot go lower than free, though I did try, and my accountant has asked me to stop.
